When I met my wife, she was not broken. She is whole in Christ. I did not heal her or make her beautiful again. It was not my effort. It’s her God who is Christ. She was already beautiful; her beauty is just shining more now, and the promise of the Lord in her life is unfolding. Just as you can never devalue a beautiful stone by trampling it on the ground, it is valued by its creator.
Isaiah 40:31 | But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
